About the Attendees
Who is it for
Do you want to make a difference? Have impact? Are you a student, who gets excited about bringing people from your campus together for change? Do you have ideas on how to move ideas to impact, or want to support others who do? Then we want you to attend the Hult Prize Impact Retreat and help us co-create our future as we plan for 2020 and roll out Hult Prize@ events on campus, giving students from your university a direct path to the Hult Prize Regional Finals and one step closer to US$1,000,000 in start-up funding..
What will we do there
At the two-and-a-half day castle retreat, you will work hand-in-hand with the inspiring people who have helped make the Hult Prize dream a reality, and get the opportunity to co-create, helping us design the future of our organization. We will share what we've learned, reflect, brainstorm and plan during this fun, interactive weekend. One of our main goals for the retreat is to build an organic community where our mission can extend to your campus, helping to further foster local ecosystems of change and drive exciting year-round programs for student entrepreneurs who want to make real improvements in our world.
What is a Hult Prize@ event
Hult Prize@ events are locally hosted start-up challenges which are locally organized by students on campus. They mix Hult Prize challenges, student teams, professional and academic judges, and pitch sessions to ignite entrepreneurship across University campuses. Winners of Hult Prize@ events by-pass the application process into the Hult Prize annual challenge, fast-tracking ideas into the regional final round and one step closer to US$1,000,000 in start-up funding.
Creating a community to engage young people and change the world
The Hult Prize community brings together influencers and mentors from the business, civic, and academic community to collaborate with entrepreneurs, and promotes the sharing of ideas and experiences across academic disciplines and professional experience levels. We believe that embedding our culture and ideology within local networks can move young people to make their mark, shake up the status quo, shed the stagnant solutions of yesterday, and create a new platform for our generation to voice their ideas. Beyond that, to put action behind those ideas with the support of a community of like-minded, passionate, enthusiastic game-changers and experts in the space.
