about the retreat

Hult Prize Impact Retreat

The Hult Prize team is getting together for an exclusive weekend filled with fun, inspiration, workshops and some changing-the-world planning action, and we'd like you to be a part of it. We are covering the costs of accommodation, food, and entertainment, you just have to get yourself to London!

An integral part of our 2020 strategy is expanding the Hult Prize Nationals and on-campus programs around the world, and we want your help. Hult Prize programs provide nations and universities with a turn-key program to host a localized edition of the Hult Prize. Winners of these events bypass the application round of the Hult Prize and fast-track into one of five regional final events world-wide or even the global accelerator. In the upcoming year, we will be launching an additional 50 new national programs and 300 on-campus Hult Prize@ chapters across the world. We are inviting you to this exclusive retreat to join our executive team and previous Hult Prize winners to help us shape this fast-growing community. Along with running official Hult Prize programs, these localized national and university hubs will serve as accelerators of impact in your local community.

We are asking a select group of change-makers to join us, including past and future HP@ campus and national directors. If you are graduating this year, please be sure to forward this on to someone in your HP@ or national organizing committee to attend as well. We aim to create a strong global on-campus presence for this upcoming fall semester, and would like to host a variety of schools at the castle to be the next generation of campus directors.

About the Castle
The Ashridge Castle is one of the most beautiful and historically significant parks and gardens in England. A jewel of the late 18th Century and of the early 19th Century picturesque style at its zenith, it survives intact, little altered. It is of great rarity and is registered Grade II* by English Heritage. Less than 45 minutes from Central London and London Heathrow, the castle is set on 190 acres of gardens, and is majestically nestled in National Trust woodland in the rolling Chiltern Hills in Hertfordshire.
